Please pray for a friend, Natalie, she is in her final days of life. She is a strong, successful, talented and stubborn person. She is a loving one when she lets her guard down. Her sister is unsure of her salvation, she will be talking with her today, once family & friends clear out. I am asking you to pray for the words to be from God's throne to Nikk's mouth to Natalie's heart. I do not want her to leave this temporal place not knowing Christ Jesus. Please agree with me in prayer for her today. Thank you-God Bless
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities the chastisement of our peace was upon him, and with his stripes we are healed. I certainly believe in physical healing, but I know without a shadow of a doubt God cares about our Spiritual healing even more... I pray for her salvation!!

What a question, I am sure we could all come up with all kinds of responses to it.
If we were to look at: Romans 12:1-2
Therefore I urge you brothers that in view of God's mercy that you offer your bodies as living sacrifices holy and pleasing to God-This is your spiritual act of worship. Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is, His good and perfect will.
Let's Look at The Message translation of the same two scriptures..Romans 12:1-2
So here's what I want you to do, God helping you: Take your everyday ordinary life-Your sleeping, eating, going to work and walking-around your ordinary life---and place it before God as a offering...Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead fix your thinking on God and you'll be changed form the inside out.

I believe we all want to better ourselves and develope a better-deeper relationship with God. Sometimes the task at hand seems so out of reach. If we could break it down into simple steps, Take it day by day. Not allowing ourselves excuses anymore as to why we can't.

Philippians 3:13b-14
But this one thing I do, forgetting those things that are behind, reaching forth unto those things that are before. 14. I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

We're created to abide in him and him in us, we're created for relationship with our creator, we're created to reach the lost. Don't allow your past to determine your future. Today is a new day & a great day to start a new habit. Start your day in prayer, God what will you have me do today. What of you forgot and it's already lunch time, don't get discouraged because you had forgot, rejoice that you remembered and now pray, God what would you have me do today. Start a habit, Ask God what he wants you to do with your life as his child, ask him daily. I promise he will lead you exactly where your supposed to be.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the plans I have for you declares the Lord, not to harm you , plans to give you a hope and a future.

Somer Thompson

I am amazed how quickly our lives can change. In a MOMENT! I don't know if you have heard about a little girl Somer Thompson, she is missing. She went missing on Monday. She lives in Florida.
Her mother, Dina made her plea to the cameras today and it was so apparent how this Mom was in absolute excruciating pain. She said that on Monday morning Somer said she wasn't feeling well, she told Somer if she continued not to feel good today that she could call her and then she would come and get her.
I can't imagine all that is going on in her head, but I do know that Somer and her family need our prayers! Please join in with me praying for the safe return of this Mommy's baby. I know if it was me I would want everyone on this planet praying for my child.

It's our 6th year!!!

Can you believe it, This year makes our 6th year that we have been collecting can & dry foods for Tricounty Family Ministries. We also collect clothes, coats and Christmas gifts for the children that come through. So guess what, we need your help again this year. We need your help to make a difference right here in Our Tricounty area.
Some ideas to help us would be: Start a can food drive at work, church or your bible study group, Ask your co-workers, your family and church family for some gently used clothes that we can load up and take to them. We would ask if you would to make sure they are washed and folded. We sort them out for M/F and sizes and put them in label boxes for the team at TFM. We do not want for them to have to do any additional work.
Our deadline goal is November the 14th. We can come by whenever you ask for us too and pick up what you've collected at any time. Just post a comment to this post and give me your name and number, we'll get in touch with you asap and answer any questions you may have.

Can I just say I have had a great day, because I have? It all started with a road trip, anywhere I have to go that leads me out of Goose Creek, is a road trip. Lisa and I went all the way to West Ashley to a bible study. What a wonderful group of women we encountered today. I was told I would really enjoy our bible study teacher, I was told she was a “Hoot.” Guess what? She was and so much more. She has a class on Wednesday mornings and we were so thankful to be there today and receive what the Lord had for us. God is so great; he blows me away all the time. Do you know he has big plans for you, for me, for all of us? I pray that you discover this day what his great plan for you is and that you and God take a road trip. Leaving the comfortable surroundings of what is in your reach and gear up to go pass the convenient. Pack a snack and take a road trip with Jesus, maybe you will discover some awesome new avenues in you or maybe put up a road block or two. No matter the destination, as I was reminded today, from our teacher, Alyce Reeves, it begins with him and ends with him, full circle moments. Alyce said, “It’s a process” Amen to Alyce.

In my pursuit

I was asked recently a question from, "Curious George" that had to do with a third party, the question was, "What fruit does this person bear." Curious George asked in a way of a statement, as to imply or insinuate they knew the answer.
I had two thoughts;
1) A person who attempts to lure you into a debate-surely can't have anything of merit to say.
2) I wanted to defend the innocent third party, who didn't know that this question, rather statement was made.
I compromised with;
A) I answered and shared a resent number of events I was privileged to observe, where fruitfulness was evident with this person. (It took all of 20 seconds)
B) I ended the topic, because I believe we are not in control of what people think or choose to believe.
Interesting enough, days following I have been privileged to witness a series of events involving , Guess who Curious George..
Wow, interesting demeanor. How intriguing it is to me that some seem to have the knack to critic others in their walk, don't seem to possess the talent to judge themselves.
Mathew Henry Commentary says, we must not sit in the judgment-seat, to make our word a law to every body. We must not judge our brother, that is, we must not speak evil of him.
Those that are unnecessarily extreme in pointing out flaws in others or unyielding in putting the spot light on the faults of others, simply amaze me. Reason being they seem to be so tolerant and indulgent of their own. Is that the definition of hypocrisy? Yes, I think it is.
My co-labourers in Christ, Can we start this new year off by believing the good before we assume the bad? Can we take as much time in prayer asking God to enlighten, educate, disclose, and acquaint us with ourselves as we do looking at others? To my sweet co-labourers who spend so much time in attempting to perfect yourself due to the judgement or critiquing of others, could you pray for God to allow you too see "YOU" through his, your creator's eyes. You are a masterpiece!!
In the pursuit of Christ, we all are beautiful. I love you much my fellow pursuers, I pray for God's strength and blessing on your road to home.

New Year's Resolution

I read about the SMART way to make goals.
S.M.A.R.T.
Specific (I will memorize 2 scriptures a month.)
Measurable (Can you visibly see the goal being obtained?)
Attainable (Cure world hunger-is WAY to big of a problem to complete in a year)
Realistic (Gathering donations and a food drive to help local shelters can be accomplished)
Time (Set a date-Monitor Yourself-If you have a friend who would be your accountability partner in this one area)(I tend not to tell, because I don't want anyone to know if I failed-but not this year-accountability)
My prayer is this
"In agreement with God's Word that says God has plans for me to give me 'a future and a hope,' (Jeremiah 29:11) I ask that God will keep a holy fire burning in me to accomplish his will in what he has called me to do, I agree with Isaiah 43:18-19 "Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it?" I will 'redeem the time' during this year. I fully understand that all goals are subject to change as I listen to his leading and remove my wants and desires. By His help these dreams of my heart shall become reality-I Love the Lord, I am thankful that every new year when I self reflect and I desire to grow as a follower of Christ-he doesn't change-he isn't making a new resolution-He has got this all together. How Awesome is he!!!"
I have a friend, She is called to teach-she is awesome, A Praise and Worship leader-You can see how she enjoys worship, She teaches while leading us in Worship. She can accomplish 50 tasks a day and I celebrate her gifts in Christ, what amazes me about her mostly is that she doesn't see it. It is my prayer and my goal this year is for all of us to discover the value of who we are in Christ. I am very thankful for her and her willingness to persevere and open herself up to share. God Bless my sister this year... and you.

Doing what you've always done-Gets you what you've always got

Wow, time has a way of getting by you quickly. I hope this day finds you in a good place. I received and email this morning from a friend of over 20 years, her sister is in this hospital, She has battled cancer and it is back and she is having some other difficulties today. My friend asked for prayer of her sister because she said she has no one, no one, no husband, no children, no boyfriend, no friends there, just her parents and my friend, her sister. The sister is a very successful woman-VERY successful and she is all alone. Isn't that just senseless-one prayer away from having the only one who matters there. Jesus, my savior, my very best friend, more than a husband, more than anyone could have the audacity to think that they could stand in representation of. I do not know what I would do without Christ- I just don't. I have had people in my life let me down, at some point in my life everyone has disappointed me and I am sure I have them...What I can say is he has never done that-Quite the opposite he impresses me day after day. He listens to me and he answers to my call. He is my intercessor and my way maker. In Numbers the 18th chapter-The Lord said to Aaron, "You will have no inheritance in their land, nor will you have any share among them; I am your share and your inheritance among the Israelite's." He is our inheritance he is my share my portion nothing of this world... Please don't live a day with out him...there isn't a need for you or I or anyone else to go through life with out, "No one being there" you never have to be alone... Give Christ a chance...I have found -
If you do what you have always done- You will get what you have always got. Is it time for a change...Do you desire for something different? In my Joy and in my sadness he is there with me and he is the one I want to share it with first. I pray that you will find time to enjoy your cup of coffee today with the Lord... He is anxiously awaiting ....

Boys and Girls!! The Countdown starts to LAUNCH!!! So much to do and so little time. Business Partners came over today and we did some inventory and we will be doing some inventory tomorrow as well.... CRAZY isn't it? It's kinda fun too...we laugh and talk together and share our excitement!!! So please say a prayer for us!!! Also Please say a prayer for a new friend of mine, Stephanie, her father is in the hospital and it doesn't look good. I know God can do all things, I cannot imagine how incredibly difficult this has to be for her. So please agree with me for covering over her and her daddy, Dell. Thank you so very much.

Time has a way of getting past you...

Wow-What a day. I fell like I was able to accomplish a lot and when I look so much is still needed to get done. Today was a beautiful day, my children were in the backyard playing and laughing. I was moving a mountain of paper work and my husband was wanting me to stop and get dressed so we could go to Lowe's. You see, sir William, as I call him, loves the Christmas displays at Lowe's, every year we add to the front lawn. Our neighbor's have decided his name will be Mr. Griswold. One neighbor said we were a landing site for airplanes, He loves it. I know he does it for our girls. I was not hearing it of coarse because I was making a dent in the all to important paper work. Then my friend Lisa called me, who is co-partner in this ministry, she had called for a prayer request. Her son Joshua had received really bad news today, four of his closest friends were involved in a horrific accident. One of them lost his life today, he was 17 years old, another who was driving was in critical condition and didn't know if he would make it, along with him was his little brother, that was in the back seat was in a fight for his life that it would take a miracle from God to allow him to live. (His Little Brother-These two boys lost their mother 8 years ago when she was tragically killed in a car accident) So at this point I cannot imagine what the father could possibly be going through. The fourth young man was ejected from the car and suffered a broke foot. Joshua, who I consider one of my own was supposed to be with his friends last night but had a change of mind. I can only imagine what was going through my friend Lisa's mind while her son was telling her all of this. We all sent out prayer request after we heard and I received word about an hour ago that the driver has pulled through, he still has a ways to go, and his little brother-they have stopped his internal bleeding and is stable at this time, but is still in ICU, he still needs our prayers.
I am amazed at how quickly time goes by, my oldest daughter is almost 19 years old, I pray for my girls all the time. We never know when God will call us home, do we? Time goes by to quickly and I have been so guilty of this so many times of not putting my priorities in order, when we hear stories of this nature it is a wake-up call. Is there something that you have been putting off, Have you been meaning to do something, when was the last time you just hugged your child, read a book to them, played kick ball, Remember that game? 30 minutes a day of uninterrupted time with your child, spouse or parent, will make a world of difference. Life sure has a way of catching up with you. Interesting enough. In the Bible it refers to what is done in darkness will be brought to light. I had an interesting conversation tonight with someone about that very scripture. My thought on the the things we want to keep secret and we don't want anyone to know, maybe the thing the devil would try to use against you to keep you in bondage or a pit. When "Things" are brought to light, I believe it is for freedom and deliverance. Did you ever try to keep something buried and had though after thought about the "What If" and when it did surface, it wasn't like anything you thought it would be? It is almost like a weight lifted. I believe that the Enemy exposes at our cost and the Lord reveals at his cost. It is because of what he has done for us, he paid our cost so we could be free. So maybe when something is revealed, we own it, repent if need be and release it. Take a deep breath and let it out...let it go. There is now therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ...Romans 8:1a
I thank you Lord this day for some revelation in our family, I thank you Lord that this has been revealed for healing and I am amazed once again God how truly awesome you are. Ask and you shall receive, Thank you for the gift.

Oh WOW, It has been a crazy couple of days. Please pray for me, I am being challenged left and right. Not always a bad thing. God is so good. He takes real good care of me. The Franklin Graham Festival has been this weekend, I am planning on going tomorrow with Lisa and Brandi. Kirk Franklin and Casting Crowns will be there. I love them both, seriously, they are my two top groups ever... Hope to see you there... Much love in Him...

Its Sunday night and I am upstairs cleaning my inventory. I am looking into a new business venture. It is really amazing...God is so good. I had prayed a couple of months ago for God to help me in my business, Help me reduce the line and make it simple and low and behold the same week I was working with one of my manufacturers on copyright and not keeping inventory, WOW!! God Rocks!! Then, I had another little bird whisper in my ear about another way to benefit the business and others. This person did not know, I had also prayed for help because I wanted to go into Ministry again, and I technically am, but no formal announcement..Oops unless that was it...smile So like I said I am upstairs clearing some things out making- some room- and it has been a little hard for me. To have something God has given you and you personalize it to the max, to decide to share it is great, but having to change my ideas to fit others is hard just for a moment. Having ideals of what you would call a certain line is hard to let go, I wanted to have a line and call it the Emma Collection and I wanted to have a Blake Collection and of coarse a Lauren collection. I don't particularly see that happening right now, but I do see greater things... I just need to get past my mommy moment, its hard though, my girls have worked this business with me. Oh yes they have, every time the UPS man would come they would sit down with me and help me invoice the merchandise. I have got some great Kids!!!!! Thank YOU God for them everyday!!!! A Praise offering, Sir William was given a surprise yesterday...A Raise, the max he could receive...WOW...again... Thank God for Publixs. Did you know Publixs was a Christian based company? Now you do.
Pray for me and please pray for the Ladies Conference that is coming up in 2 weeks... I would greatly appreciate it..God Bless..and Good Night..D

Busy Busy Busy

Busy day,
I was up very early with my youngest daughter, she wasn't feeling well, then along came Blake and she proved she wasn't feeling well. It is the hardest thing to deal with when your children are not feeling well. My BFF came over this morning, we shared some things that we were thinking....Then Elaine came over, she is so much fun..love her!!! The Kimberly came over, I appreciated her today, she helped me with the girls so I could clean the house of all its germs. We were able to visit, it has been a long time since we have been able to do anything together. I need to plan a girls night out..dinner and catch up. I will have to find a picture of Kimberly and upload her so I can introduce her to you guys too.
Please remember all those in Texas... and all areas effected by Ike. So much to be praying for. Billy and I are planning a new business venture.... God is so amazing, I surely don't want to disappoint him.
Question for you...If you could have a day with one person in history, past or present who would it be and why? I'll share mine tomorrow.

Today is September 12th.
I have had a week with sick babies and now a sick husband, this will make you physically tired. I missed being at church tonight. I am excited to find out that we will have our first service at a different location starting in November...How awesome is that.
Two weeks from now, I will be participating in a conference. I am asking God for each one of us involved in this and each one that comes to this conference to receive that which they need from him. We all as friends to one another try to be there for one another and meet our friends needs, but lets face it, we are so limited in what we can bring to the table. I have had needs that I couldn't verbalize to another person, it was to hard to find the verbiage to do so. I can remember praying about this one thing for years, I'm not referring to one or two years, It's been almost 20 years. I finally received my answer from God this past March. Interesting footnote here, I had to be in a place to hear him, to "GET IT" when he so displayed his answer to me. Does this mean I have to wait years for answers from God? I don't think so, I know he heard every single prayer, I know he knew what a breakthrough this would be for me, but so does the enemy. Crazy as this sounds, I'm sure I am the only one who has ever done this, Sometimes I have been in the way, I have tried to help God handle me..... Ever heard or read "Don't try this at home" Let me give you a label to read... "Don't try to help God" I have realized he didn't need my help. I needed HIS. What a breakthrough for me though, what a healing for me!!!!!! Wow, words can't describe. He is so personable too, He answered me in a way that I have a permanent visual and a permanent sound, date and time when & where, so when the enemy tries to take that from me, I say to myself, Self..remember and I can go back and receive the joy all over again. A never ending present. I don't care for public affection, don't know why, just don't. God answered my prayer in a big display of affection in a crowd of 18k women and here is where God is so personal, he knows me and nobody there knew about it but me & him. My God, my Savior never ever embarrasses you, he is always taking care of you. hmm Just thought I'd share..
Please remember those in Texas and those around, I have a great friend in Texas, Cynthia and we are praying for everyone.
